The base mill is a stationary machine for "in-store" maintenance of "valve seats".
Column machines are mounted on a solid workbench base with clamping tables and drawers for all accessories, drives, tools and consumables. The inclined arrangement of the clamping table enables the gate valve body and the wedge to be easily clamped and aligned. The machine has a unique orbital rotation, mechanically driven grinding head for maximum material removal and optimum flatness accuracy.
